The Sturgeon Family Foundation is excited to announce the appointment of Barry Kromann to the Charity Identification Committee. Barry Kromann: A Distinguished Career in Banking and Real Estate

Barry Kromann brings a wealth of experience in finance and real estate investment to the Sturgeon Family Foundation. As Co-Founder and Principal of Guardian Equity LLC, Barry has been instrumental in private equity investments since October 2023. His extensive career includes notable leadership roles such as Fort Worth Market President for First National Bank, Area President for Independent Financial, Executive Vice President at Texas Capital Bank, and Vice President at Bank One (now JP Morgan).

With over 35 years in banking and a successful track record as a real estate investor, Barry has participated in more than 90 commercial real estate transactions, managing assets exceeding $4 billion. His expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and investment has made him a leading figure in Tarrant County’s financial sector.

Community Involvement and Recognition

Barry’s dedication extends beyond his professional achievements. He is a two-time honoree of the Fort Worth Business Press “40 Under 40” award (1998 and 2002) and has held multiple leadership roles in community non-profits. His commitment to community service and leadership reflects the values of the Sturgeon Family Foundation.

Barry graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Tech University. His academic excellence laid a strong foundation for his illustrious career in finance and real estate.
